Answer:

option 4 is correct

cash flow is $12000

Explanation:

Given data

Sales = $200,000

Variable Costs = $120,000

Fixed Costs = $40,000

Depreciation Expense = $20,000

Tax Rate = 40%

to find out

operating cash flow

solution

we know cost = Variable Costs+ Fixed Costs

cost = $160,000

and

profit is = Sales - cost - expense

profit = $200,000 - $160000 - $20,000

profit = $20,000

and

tax expense = 40% of $20000

tax expense = 40% × $20000 = $8000

so

cash flow = profit - tax expense

cash flow = 20000 - 8000

cash flow = $12000

so option 4 is correct

cash flow is $12000

Charra [1.4K]

Answer:

Option C

Explanation:

Idealized power involves attitudes that give followers confidence in becoming identified with the leader—often connoted and confused with charisma. This means that a ruler for the common good of the party would go beyond their own self-interest, and undertake individual compromises for the advantage of others.

Idealized influence can be improved by managers by personalizing their management style, that is, give individual attention to all their subordinates regarding their problems.

nata0808 [166]

Answer:

Annie should increase the order size to 148 bottles per order and she will be able to save $91.85 per year.

Explanation:

we must calculate the economic order quantity (EOQ) in order to determine the size of the order that reduces costs:

EOQ = √[(2 x S x D) / H]

  • S = cost per order = $35
  • D = annual demand = 2,500 bottles of shampoo
  • H = holding cost per unit) = $8

EOQ = √[(2 x 35 x 2,500) / 8] = √(175,000 / 8) = √21,875 = 147.90 ≈ 148 bottles of shampoo

total cost when ordering 100 bottles = (25 orders x $35) + (100/2 x $8) = $875 + $400 = $1,275

total cost when ordering 148 bottles = (16.89 orders x $35) + (148/2 x $8) = $591.15 + $592 = $1,183.15

Annie will save $1,275 - $1,183.15 = $91.85 per year

2. The computation of the gross margin and locked with the put option and actual reported gross margin is shown below:-

Particulars   Rate    Pounds   Amount   Gross Margin    Gross Margin

Cost Price   $2.15   10,000    $21,500

Strike Price   $2.3 10,000     $23,000      $1,500             6.98%

Cost after hedge

loss of           $0.6    2.09        10,000       $20,900

Selling Rate   $2.24 10,000    $22,400       $1,500         7.18%

Gross margin locked with the put option: 6.98%

Actual reported gross margin: 7.18%

The two amounts are different, since the carrying value of the inventory has changed and the same has been reduced. As a result the total gross margin of 1,500 yielded another percentage as the base value (inventory carrying value) was adjusted.
