What time period do children celebrate when they go with their art class to practice their Impressionist painting skills? A. Jun
olya-2409 [2.1K]

The correct answer is D. 1860's

Explanation:

Impressionism was an important modern movement in painting that focused on depicting spontaneous realistic scenes. For example, impressionism would focus on people in a park. Additionally, impressionist paintings stand out because impressionism uses the contrast of color and quick brush strokes that simulate light and movement. In terms of history, this movement emerged in France during the last 19th century, around the 1860s and through artists such as Claude Monet. Thus, the period celebrated when children practice impressionist painting skills is the 1860s.
