The people in the 1600s were able to gain a lot of money through the means of exporting goods towards different countries. Ships were a common means of transportation during this era so then they can bring different goods to various countries around the world.

He wanted the Northwest Territory for growth of the new nation, so he sent in military to defeat Native American tribes at the Battle of Fallen Timbers. The Treaty of Greenville was signed by twleve Native American tribes to surrender their land to the government. Washington also crushed the Whiskey Rebellion through military force in 1794.
