Answer:

X = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Firstly, try simplfying the equation simply multiply the whole brackets with 2

-X - (18 - 16x) = 12

You can either multiply the whole equation by -1 or simplfy it, im gonna do the second option here.

-X - 18 + 16x = 12

Now, lets add 18 to both sides.

-X - 18 + 16X + 18 = 12 + 18

-X + 16X = 30

Getting simple here, Subtract an X from the 16X.

15X = 30

Divide the whole equation by 15.

X = 2

Always check if the answer is right or not.

-(2)-2[9-8(2)]

-2-(18-32)

-2-(-14)

-2+14

12 = 12

And that's how it's solved.

Allison has 1/2 cup of yogurt for making fruit parfaits.Each parfait requires 1/8 a cup of yogurt.How many parfaits can she make
cupoosta [38]
Allison can make 4 fruit parfaits.

Since one parfait requires 1/8 cup of yogurt, add:
1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8

They all share a common denominator, so:

1/8 + 1/8 +1/8 + 1/8 = 4/8

Simplify your answer (divide numerator and denominator by the common factor of 2) :

4/8 = 1/2

1/2 represents the total amount of cups of yogurt used. Since it took adding 1/8 four times that represents 4 parfaits.

Mrac [35]
Answer:
The percentage of people surveyed that were satisfied with the car is 55%.
Step-by-step explanation:
The statement indicates that in a survey 1,100 people of 2,000 surveyed said that they would buy the car they have again and from this, you can inferred that they are satisfied with the car. So, to calculate the percentage of people surveyed that were satisfied with the car you have to divide 1,100 by 2,000 that is the total number of people surveyed and then, multiply the result by 100:
1,100/2,000=0.55*100= 55%
