You would divide the diameter in half to get the radius which is 4. And do the formula which is a=pie(r) squared. So the answer would be 50.24

Diameter of a circle = 2r
an area of a circle = <span> πr²
so, if the diameter of the circular pan is 8 inches taht menas,
2r = 8
or, r = 4 inches
so area of the pan = </span>πr² = 22/7* 4 = 12.57 inches
