Answer:

The freshwater forms the most integral part of the water cycle. Out of the total water composition, there is roughly 2.5% of fresh water on the earth's surface. This includes the water that is present in the ice caps, glaciers, rivers, ponds, streams and lakes.

Some of these waters are directly obtained from the atmosphere in the form of rain, snow, and mist. Some are derived from the melting of the ice and glaciers present in the higher altitudes, that flows down during the summer season.

The freshwater is very important as all living beings are dependent on it. So it must be used in a limited way and should also be conserved.

Which is the most ethical response if an experiment fails to confirm a hypothesis?
miv72 [106K]
In this circumstance one should revise the hypothesis and develop a new experiment to test it.An example could be the theory of Agraham Gottloeb Werner that all rocks were precipitated from water including not just sedimentary rocks but also volcanic, plutonic and metamorphic rocks. The more the earth was studied, especially by James Hutton in Scotland, the more it became obvious that granites for example were deposited in a molten state, thus disproving that hypothesis or theory.

PLEASE HELP!!!
Musya8 [376]

Answer:

c) The planetoid is being attracted toward another massive object.

Explanation:

We can rule out a, the planetoid is travelling through space, friction is effectively nonexistent. B can be ruled out as well, as there is nothing in space that could naturally repel a planetoid. D is also implausible, as the question says the planetoid slows down for a certain period in its orbit, suggesting this behavior is repeated. Option c is incredibly likely, as the planetoid is far from the sun, a large mass, possibly far smaller than the sun but also far closer to the planetoid, could have the effect described in the question.
