To arrange the given numbers from least to greatest we convert the numbers to decimal form.

75% =0.75

(Percent means out of 100.The decimal is shifted two places left to                               convert percent to decimal)

\frac{1}{3} =0.33

\frac{3}{8}=0.375

0.625

The  decimals from least to greatest are:

0.33,0.375,0.625,0.75.

The numbers arranged from least to greatest are:

\frac{1}{3},\frac{3}{8},0.625,75%

Help me with this question
enot [183]

Answer:

37.2

Step-by-step explanation:

when you turn the small triangle LMN to its right angle to cover the right angle of KLM, you find that they are similar triangles.

therefore the corresponding side lengths are at the same ratio.

LM/KM = MN/LN

LM = 24

MN = 13

we can get LN via Pythagoras of the small triangle

LN² + MN² = LM²

LN² + 13² = 24²

LN² = 24² - 13² = 576 - 169 = 407

LN = sqrt(407) = 20.174241

now back to our main problem

24/KM = 13/sqrt(407)

24×sqrt(407)/13 = KM = 37.2

Hypotenuse Math. 15 Points.
Rina8888 [55]

Using the Pythagorean theorem:

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

A and B are the sides and c is the hypotenuse.

4^2 + 5^2 = c^2

Simplify:

16+25 = c^2

41 = c^2

Take the square root of both sides:

c=√41

The distance between City A and City B is 500 miles. A length of 1.8 feet represents this distance on a certain wall map. City C
Ratling [72]

Answer: 800 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the actual distance between City C and City D be represented by x.

The information given in the question can be formed into an equation as:

1.8 feet / 2.88 feet = 500 miles / x

Cross multiply

1.8 × x = 500 × 2.88

1.8x = 1440

x = 1440/1.8

x = 800

Therefore, the actual distance between City C and City D is 800 miles.
