Answer:

Hanks Graph:

A graph that shows the number of months and the total amount paid by Hank would be the straight line that does not go through the origin because Hank pays the exact same amount every month. However since Hank only started with $2000 it will put him / his graph off the origin.

Lynn's graph:

A graph that shows the number of months and the total amount paid by Lynn would be the Straight line that does pass through the origin because she pays the same every month. However she also started by paying nothing and then she went on to pay $275 a month so she does start at the origin

Last question:

The relationship between the number of months and the total amount paid is proportional for Lynn's loan only because she pay's the same $275 a month whereas Hank started with $220

Hanks Graph: Straight line that does NOT go through the origin

Because he pays the same amount every month but he started with a cost of 2,000. That puts him off the origin

Lynn's graph:

Straight line that DOES pass through the origin

She pays the same every month, but she also started by paying nothing, meaning she does start at the origin.

Third question:

Just Lynn. Lynn pays the same $275 a month, but Hank started with $2,200.

Use a calculator to evaluate sec 85 degrees
faltersainse [42]

OK. I used my calculator to evaluate sec(85 degrees).

My calculator doesn't have a "sec" button on it.
But I remembered that

           sec of an angle = 1 / (cosine of the same angle) .

So I used my calculator to find cos(85), and then I hit the
" 1/x " key, and got 11.474, which I knew to be sec(85).

The midpoint of line MN is P(5,5). One of the end points in M(-4,2). Find the coordinate of endpoint N.
Greeley [361]
-4 + x                        2 + y
-------  =  5  and         ------  = 5
   2                               2

so x = 10 + 4 = 14  and y = 10 - 2 = 8

endpoint N = (14,8)

What is the length of the diagonal?
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

The value of x is equal to 26 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve this problem.

a^2+b^2=c^2

a=10\\b=24\\c=?

10^2+24^2=c^2

100+576=c^2

676=c^2

\sqrt{676} =\sqrt{c^2}

26=c
