The New Deal helped to change the social, economic, and political landscape of the United States by seeking to drastically change the relationship between Americans and governance. Through a series of economic reforms, regulations, and spending packages the New Deal so to revitalize the American economy to and to decrease the high unemployment and poverty that came as a result of the Great Depression. This drastically changed many aspects of society as it helped to revitalize and rebuild the United States after a period of great economic decline and recession.
