Had you been alive in 1965, which approach to civil rights would you have supported—King's nonviolent resistance approach or Jac
fenix001 [56]

Answer:

I would have supported Kings nonviolent resistance approach.

Explanation:

I would use his approach because of the goal of the approach which is to promote change in the society without violence of any kind.

His approach made the people more active and vocal in demanding for equal rights in a nonviolent way.

Dr. King led this movement in the late 1950’s and ‘60s to achieve legal equality for African-

Americans in the United States.

The power of words and other acts of nonviolence, like protests, grassroots organizing, and civil disobedience were the strategies Martin Luther King used to achieve his goals. He lead campaigns against poverty and international conflict. He also maintained that men and women in all parts of the world, regardless of skin color or creed, are equal members of the society.

What were the positive and negative effects of british rule on india
jolli1 [7]

Answer:

There were many positive and negative effects of British Rule in India.

Explanation:

The negative effects were that Indian people did not have power or say in the political decisions of the country. India did not have identity of tis own. They used divide and rule to rule over the country for around 200 years. The country which was so rich in its culture had become a mere slave to the Britishers.

Positive effects can be that there was an increase in production of goods. There was better hygiene amongst people and there were vaccinations and medicines available, which led to increase in population.
