If she saved $300 the first 4 months then she needs to save another $1200 in the next 8 months, right? So now we divide 1200 by 8 to get 150. So each month for the next 8 months she needs to save $150 to reach the goal. Make sense?

I need to simplify this<br> (3x^2+2xy+4y^2) + (6x^2-5xy+3y^2) + (9y^2-25y^2)
Andreyy89
(3x² + 2xy + 4y²) + (6x² - 5xy + 3y²) + (9y² - 25y²)

Get rid of the parenthesis :)

3x² + 2xy + 4y² + 6x² - 5xy + 3y² + 9y² - 25y²

Add like terms.

(3x² + 6x²) + (2xy - 5xy) + (4y² + 3y² + 9y² - 25y²)

Simplify.

(9x²) + (-3xy) + (-11y²)

Get rid of the parenthesis.

9x² - 3xy - 11y²

~Hope I helped!~

Answer:

S1548.

Step-by-step explanation:

1-7% =- 0.017 and 5.3% - 0.053.

Kevin : After 1 year he has 43,000 * 0.017 = S731.

Greg:  After 1 year he has  43,000 * 0.053 =  S2279

Difference = 2279 - 731 = S1548.
