Answer:

y = 0x + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the slope.

Slope = <u> y2 - y1</u>

              x2 - x1

Plug in the points.

Slope =    <u>2 - 2</u>         =   <u>0</u>

                -7 - 8            -15

Pick a point to plug into the y = mx + b formula

I picked (8,2)

Now plug in the point and slope.

(Your teacher might prefer you to use 0/-17, but it can be simplified to 0, so I'll just use that.)

Equation: (2) = 0(8) + b

                 2  = 0 + b

                 2 = b  (b = 2)

Now put your slope and the y-intercept into the equation, and it will be:

y = 0x + 2

It's a bit hard to show on keyboard, so I hope you understand.

Calculation of x:

we can see that

x is hypotenuse

so, we can use pythagoras theorem

x=\sqrt{8^2+10^2}

x=2\sqrt{41}

Calculation of y:

we can use tan formula to find it

opposite=8

adjacent=10

tan(y)=\frac{8}{10}

y=tan^{-1}(\frac{8}{10})

y=38.65degree

Calculation of z:

we know that sum of all angles of any triangle is 180

y+z+90=180

z=51.35degree...........Answer

Answer the following question in *full sentences*
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation has 100, which represents the cost of the printer, then you add to .05p which stands for each page is .05 and you multiply it by p which would be the amount of pages, so when you do .05p it stands for the equation to to calculate the total cost of pages. Then .25p is the cost times the amount of pages.

Hope this helps, you understand it more.
