Answer:

A published scientific study from a research university would be the most credible source to use in a research paper about vegetarianism.

Explanation:

A published scientific study from a research university would be the most credible source to use in a research paper about vegetarianism. This is because a scientific study is objective and it’s based on premises that are justified by facts and not opinions. The other options may all be biased. The website of an organization that lobbies for the meat industry would probably present ideas contrary to vegetarianism because they’re interested in supporting the meat consumption. A pamphlet from an animals-rights group would also be biased as it would condemn the consumption of meat without taking in consideration the positive aspects of consuming meat, if there are any. Finally, a personal blog wouldn't be a right source as it presents the personal opinions of the person who writes it. In conclusion, a scientific study would be the best source to support the research paper.

It would most likely be A. because it is a non-biased source. D is a biased source so it is not credible

What are some of the ethical problems with the information that is now available because of genetic research?
abruzzese [7]

The primary ethical concerns that IRBs and investigators must grapple with when designing and reviewing studies involving the use of genetic information are privacy, confidentiality, informed consent, and return of results.

People are concerned about a few ethical quandaries. Being able to obtain the information contained in the DNA structure may result in people being discriminated against when applying for jobs or insurance coverage. Another contentious issue is the possibility of selecting fetuses during pregnancy.

Genetic counseling raises unique ethical concerns about confidentiality and privacy protection. Individual information, family history, carrier status, and risk of genetic disease to self or offspring can be stigmatizing and should be kept private.

Presymptomatic testing, carrier screening, workplace genetic screening, and insurance company testing all raise serious ethical concerns. Second, the growing ability to manipulate human genotypes and phenotypes raises a slew of serious ethical concerns.

#3 - A.) Circular reasoning

Instead of providing any real evidence, both scenarios use a rewording of the original claim as support.

#4 - B.) Personal attack

Both scenarios avoid addressing and supporting the actual claim and instead bring up entirely different topics to make whoever or whatever's being questioned seem villainous.
