Collagen refers to the prime structural protein in the extracellular space in the different connective tissues in the animal bodies. As the prime constituent of the connective tissue, it is the most abundant protein in mammals, forming about 25 to 35 percent of the whole-body protein component.

Collagen has an application in the cosmetic procedures to hide and fill wrinkles as it forms a series of fibers within the skin, which functions like framework. This maintains the elasticity and moisture of the skin like the younger skin.

dimaraw [331]

Answer:

The overuse of pesticides

Explanation:

Pesticides are usually sprayed on plants so that the pest organisms can be killed. But these chemicals sprayed on plants can be toxic for humans when humans consume crops which have been sprayed with pesticides. Also, erosion causes these toxic chemicals to get eroded in the nearby lakes. The chemicals in the pesticides are harmful for every life that uses this water. Hence, the overuse of pesticides might kill pests but it is also toxic for consumption by humans.

Why do cells which lack cell cycle control exhibit karyotypes which look physically different than cells with normal cell cycle?
avanturin [10]
A karyotype is the number and appearance of chromosomes in the nucleus of an eukaryotic cell. Karyotypes also describe the chromosomes count of an organism and the appearance of these chromosomes under the microscope. Cell which lack cell cycle control are often cancerous cells and they look different under the microscope compared to the normal cells. Cancerous cells will look different under the microscope in term of number of chromosomes, size, length, positioning and general appearance.
