Answer: British

Explanation:

Hi, the battle for taking control of Fort Ticonderoga took place on July 8, 1758, one of the bloodiest conflicts of the French and Indian War, and a major defeat for the British. It was fought at Fort Carillon (later renamed Fort Ticonderoga) on the shores of the southern tip of Lake Champlain on the border of New York and Vermont.

British forces and their American allies totaled some 15,000–16,000 men, the French army comprised a mere 3,600.

The Battle of Ticonderoga was a humiliating defeat for Britain.

Simora [160]

Ancient Egypt could not have existed without the river Nile. Since rainfall is almost non-existent in Egypt, the floods provided the only source of moisture to sustain crops. ... When the floods went down it left thick rich mud (black silt) which was excellent soil to plant seeds in after it had been ploughed.
