Answer:5

Step-by-step explanation:

Since Michelle (he ? ) has 11/12 quarts of paint, and need 1/6 per quart to paint, we do 11/12 / 1/6 = 11/2, or 5.5. We cannot paint .5 of a block, so Michelle can only paint 5 quarts.

In a 30-60-90 triangle, the length of the long leg is 8. Find the length of the hypotenuse.
fiasKO [112]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

In a 30-60-90 triangle, the ratio of the lengths of the angles' opposite sides are 1-√3-2.

If the long leg is 8, then the short one is 8/√3, or 8√3/3.

Therefore, the hypotenuse, which is double the short leg, is 16√3/3.

find the values of x and y that make these triangles congruent by the hl theorem x=2,y=3 x=-2,y=3x=3,y=2x=4,y=8
AnnyKZ [126]

Answer:

The correct option is x=3 , y=2

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the HL theorem if the hypotenuse and one leg of a right triangle are congruent to the hypotenuse and one leg of another right triangle then the triangles are congruent.

By using this theorem we can set up the system of equations as follows:

x=y+1 ...(1)

2x+3= 3y + 3 ..(2)

Now we will plug the value y+1 of equation 1 in equation 2.

2x+3 = 3y+3

2(y+1)+3=3y+3

2y+2+3=3y+3

2y+5=3y+3

Now combine the like terms:

5-3=3y-2y

2=y

y=2

Now plug the value y=2 in equation 1.

x=y+1

x=2+1

x=3

Thus the values of(x.y) are{(2,3)}

Therefore the correct option is x=3 , y=2 .....

What is the answer to x and y
Olin [163]

Answer:

y= 128, x=52

Step-by-step explanation:

The Sum of all the angles in a quadrilateral is 360.

y is 128 because both those angles are equal

the other 2 angles are also equal to each other.

360 - 128-128= 104

104/2 is 52

To add fractions, find the LCD - lowest common denominater, and then Combine. answer is 8/9. Decimal form = 0.888888..........
For LCD find where both bottom numbers equal the same so in this case you would have to multiply 3 times 3 to equal 9. Once you do that the 2 thats on top of the 3 will also have to be multiplied by 3 so it could make sense. Now you must Combine - it would be 6/9 +2/9. you only add the top numbers and leave the bottom number.(that is what its out of). Thus the answer is 8/9.

Leave a Thank you and a 5 star rate. Thanks ;)
