1/9 is the answer

9/9 is your whole room, and a total of 8/9 were cleaned (the total of you and your friends work) so do 9/9 - 8/9 = 1/9

Diameter=14.6 <br> round to nearest tenth
grandymaker [24]

The next greater tenth is  14.7
The next smaller tenth is  14.5

Neither of them is nearer to 14.6 than 14.6 already is.
So 14.6 is already the nearest tenth.

\boxed{ \mathfrak { solution↷}}

Let Pip get be x and fiona get be x+35

Ratio = 6:1

\tt \frac{x + 35}{x }  = 6

\tt \: x + 35 = 6x

\tt \: 5x = 35

\tt \: x = 7

\boxed{ \sf \: Total  \: money = x + x + 35 = 14+ 35 = £49}

Using all or some of the digits 2, 3, 4 and 5, Edward writes
Vesnalui [34]

Using the arrangements formula, considering the given digits, it is found that Edward writes 6 numbers.

<h3>What is the arrangements formula?</h3>

The number of possible arrangements of n elements is given by the factorial of n, that is:

A_n = n!

In this problem, the first digit has to be 5, while the other three are arranged, hence the total number of arrangements is given by:

A_3 = 3! = 6
