Plants will absorb the radioactive nitrogen compounds as ammonium (NH4+)  nitrates (NO3-)and nitrites (NO2-). The radioactive Nitrogen will  found in amino acids because the absorbed nitrates, nitrites and ammonium undergo a process called assimilation. The  nitrates and nitrites are firstly reduced to ammonia. The ammonia is then assimilation is a pathway called glutamine synthetase-glutamate synthase (GS-GOGAT). IN this pathway the ammonia is incorporated into the amino group of glutamine using glutamine synthase enzyme. The process of transamination of the glutamine then creates many other amino acids.

This process is called the energy conversion process of converting thermal energy into mechanical energy. The rotating rotor of the steam turbine directly drives the rotor of the generator to rotate, so that the generator emits electric energy, which is an energy conversion process that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.
