because it shows plagiarism and it a serious crime that could cause a lawsuit because you're taking the person hard work without a source to it. To fix either quote the person words and write his name to it or provide the link to the source where you found it.
Also, change your question it should be why should an essay writer need to provide a source kinda confusing if the question itself is confusing
