Answer:

The phenomenon seen by the students is Osmosis.

Explanation:

Osmosis is the movement of molecules from higher concentration to lower concentration through a semi-permeable membrane. This type of movement of molecules occurs in the body cells. When the concentration of molecules is higher outside the cell than the inside, the molecules goes inside the cell through semi-permeable membrane.

Answer:

Facilitated diffusion requires transport proteins, which will become saturated at high levels of the substance.

Explanation:

Facilitated diffusion does not require ATP energy nor does it require water. it does require helper proteins, which are not infinite. The proteins will become saturated at some point. This will make the rate of facilitated diffusion level out at some point.

What is the minimum pulse ox reading the emt wants to maintain in the patient with spontaneous breathing?
Alex73 [517]
I believe it should be 94%.Normal arterial oxygen is approximately 75 to 100 millimeters of mercury. Values under 60 mmHg usually indicate the need for supplemental oxygen. Low blood oxygen is known as hypoxemia. Normal pulse oximeter readings usually range from 95 to 100 percent. Values under 90 percent are considered to be low.
