so edmund would have a 2 by 2 cube (try and draw it out if that helps) so

2 x 2 = 4

2 x 3 = 6

2 x 4 = 8

so samuel cubeboid would be

long = 4

wide = 6

hight = 8

8 x 6 x 4 = 192 small cubes

but we are trying to find how much more samuel got

so 192 - 8 = 184
