At first, the narrator feels a(n) __________ motivation to become a prodigy to earn her parent's __________.
hammer [34]
The answer to your question would be direct and approval. You can rule out all the options that have affection and focus on the ones that have approval. You have to choose between extrinsic and direct. Ask yourself, which one makes more sense? Plug in the words to see if any make sense and find the answer. Hope this helps!

Which conflict greatly stressed relations between the American colonists and britan?
just olya [345]
There are many times when American Colonists and Great Britain faced stressed relations before the American Revolution.
One of them, for example, was when Britain sent troops to America to ensure that their laws and regulations were followed. However, Britain sent ONE soldier to every FOUR citizens, making the area fill up fast. Therefore, Britain passed the Quartering Acts, In which the British Soldiers were sent to live in the homes of the colonists, simply because there were so many of them and not enough places for Britain to let them stay.

What is Kipling's tone toward Rikki-Tikki-Tavi in the following passage (This passage occurs when Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is fighting N
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

Sadness

Explanation:

Rikki is completely aware of the high risk he is taking by fighting Nag. He realizes this may be the last time he ever fights with a snake, and he will make sure that it will be worth it. The statement, "He preferred to be found with his teeth locked," shows that if he is found dead, he wants it to be clear he did not die hiding in vain. He died fighting for his loved ones. :/

Obviously, he lived, but that's my best answer idk tho
