I believe the answer is popular sovereignty
popular sovereignty refers to the idea that the highest authority that exist in a nation fall to the hands of the majority of people, not the government.
In this view, government officials (including president) are just someone that people put on their paycheck to do whatever the people demanded them to do.

Which theory holds that language shapes our thoughts and perceptions to such an extent that people who speak languages that lack
Bas_tet [7]

Answer:

c. Linguistic determinism hypothesis.

Explanation:

The linguistic determinism hypothesis is also known as the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis. According to this theory, the language we speak determines our thought processes - such as memorization, categorization, and perception - and influences our social reality. Therefore, people who grow up speaking different mother tongues may have a hard time expressing their ideas in other languages. Their ideas and perceptions of the world are connected to the language they speak.

The Sapir-Whorf theory is used in the movie "Arrival", in which a linguist's cognitive processes are deeply enhanced by learning and immersing in an alien language.

Can the supreme court debate law in congress?
Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

The partial-birth abortion statute, which sort of has come to light because of the Planned Parenthood tape, which they obviously used partial birth abortion to deliver some of these babies...The Supreme Court said it was unconstitutional. What we did as a member of Congress is we passed a law outlawing partial-birth abortion again, and we said to the Supreme Court, you’re wrong. And we actually listed the reasons why we thought the court was wrong. We made a minor — and I mean really minor change in the bill. Senate passed it. President Bush signed it and — guess what? The Supreme Court reversed itself.
