Cephalosporins are divided into five generations of drugs and the progression from the first-generation to the third-generation
Lana71 [14]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

Bacteria are mainly divided into two groups - gram positive bacteria and gram negative bacteria. This division is based on the presence of the different types of cell membrane and sensitivity against different chemicals.

Cephalosporin is a drug belongs to the β-lactam antibiotics extracted from the fungus  Acremonium. This drug is further divided into the different generations and shows different sensitivity towards the gram positive and the gram negative bacteria.

Thus, the answer is true.
