Answer:

The commitment of the Framers most reflected in the Constitution of 1788 as ratified is "the principle of limited government"

Explanation:

The term "principle of limited government" refers to the concept of defining government powers by means of a constitution and thus, the government does not have absolute power. A constitution specifies the rules and regulations guiding a state and also specifies what the government is to abide to that is what the government is allowed to do, and also what it may not do. This principle limits the absolute power of a government and restrict the government to powers being regulated by the constitution. In setting distinct limits on government's power, the Framers Constitution of the U.S

as ratified in 1788 hoped to prevent the government from achieving the same level of power that the British monarchy had and does not allow for the U.S government to be involved in all affairs, they are limited by constitution and powers invested in other institutions.

Explain how and why European and
sladkih [1.3K]

European people and Native American people began interacting when the European powers took an interest in exploring and colonizing the region. As European settlements in North America increased, so did contact between these two groups. However, the relationship that was established between them changed greatly throughout the years.

Initially, the first European settlers depended on the Native Americans heavily. Native American people had better knowledge of the land, the weather, the local crops and the many other challenges that existed in the region. European settlers greatly benefitted from this knowledge. Therefore, the initial relationship between these people was one of cooperation.

As time passed, the interactions between the two groups grew. As the European settlements developed, both groups engaged in complex exchanges and commercial transactions. This led to more cooperation, but also increased conflict between them.

As conflict increased, the Native Americans began to suffer more. Lands were taken away from them, and many were displaced. Moreover, they were killed in great numbers through war and disease. This made the interaction between the two groups more negative.

What was Impeachment of Samuel chase why was it significant
natka813 [3]

Answer:

what it was: On 2 May 1803, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Chase delivered a charge to a Baltimore grand jury in which he blasted Congress and the Jefferson administration for repealing the Judiciary Act of 1801 and thus unseating federal circuit court judges.

significance: The conventional wisdom regarding the outcome of Chase's impeachment—the only such proceeding ever brought against a U.S. Supreme Court justice—is that it showed that a judge could not be removed simply for taking politically unpopular positions.
