The 6 pairs of shorts would cost (s being the cost of the pair of shorts)

6*s

and the blazer would cost 3*s

and together they were 9s, which is 139.50

so each S is 139.50/9=15.5

and the Blazer was 3*s, so 3*15.5=46.5

which is the answer!

5x – 2x + 7 – x = ?x + ?
fomenos

Step-by-step explanation:

5x – 2x + 7 – x = ?x + ?

I need the answer for "no solution" and "infinite solutions".

NO SOLUTION:

no solution because any value you give to x is not solvable, it remains +7

5x – 2x + 7 – x = ?x + ?

2x = 2x + 7

INFINITE SOLUTION

infinite solutions because any value you give to x is solvable

5x – 2x + 7 – x = ?x + ?

5x – 2x + 7 – x = 2x + 7

2x + 7 = 2x + 7

Answer:

  4

Step-by-step explanation:

The distributive property does not appear to be involved in this question.

Let n represent the number of Noah's pencils. Then Andrew's total is ...

  3n +5 = 17

  3n = 12 . . . . . subtract 5 from both sides

  n = 4 . . . . . .  divide both sides by 3

Noah has 4 pencils.
