So for this expression, remember PEMDAS

  • <u>P</u>arentheses
  • <u>E</u>xponents
  • <u>M</u>ultiplication and <u>D</u>ivision
  • <u>A</u>ddition and <u>S</u>ubtraction

Firstly, start with solving inside the parentheses: 2^3-6+9

Next, solve the exponent: 8-6+9

Now that we only have addition and subtraction, solve it from left to right to get your answer:

8-6+9 \\ 2+9 \\ 11

<u>Your answer is 11.</u>

A juice company produces 8,064 cartons of juice in 21 days. Each day, they produced the same number of cartons and delivered tho
KatRina [158]
8064 cartons in 21 days......8064/21 = 384 cartons per day

the cartons were delivered in cases of 6.....384 / 6 = 64 cases

each of 16 coffee shops received an equal number of cases..
64/16 = 4.....so each coffee shop received 4 cases per day <==

Differentiate y=x⁴(1-2x⁵)⁶(5-8x³)².
Liula [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

Let y(x)=f(x)g(x)h(x) where

f(x) = x^4

g(x)= (1 -2x^5)^6

h(x)= (5 - 8x^3)^2

so that

y(x) = x^4(1 -2x^5)^6(5 - 8x^3)^2

Recall that the derivative of the product of functions is

y'(x)=f'(x)g(x)h(x)+f(x)g'(x)h(x)+f(x)g(x)h'(x)

so taking the derivatives of the individual functions, we get

f'(x) = 4x^3

g'(x) = 6(1 - 2x^5)^5(-10x^4)

h'(x) = 2(5 - 8x^3)(-24x^2)

So the derivative of y(x) is given by

y'(x) = 4x^3(1 -2x^5)^6(5 - 8x^3)^2 + x^4 6(1 -2x^5)^5(-10x^4)(5 - 8x^3)^2 + x^4(1 -2x^5)^6 2(5 - 8x^3)(-24x^2)

or

y'(x) = 4x^3(1 -2x^5)^6(5 - 8x^3)^2

\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:- 60x^8(1 -2x^5)^5(5 - 8x^3)^2

\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:- 48x^6(1 -2x^5)^6 2(5 - 8x^3)

Solve for the missing variables, I know they add up to 360 but where do i start?
iren2701 [21]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a°=180°-36°=144° b°=180°-113°=67°

a°=144° and b°=67°

144+67=211

36+113=149

149+211=360
