The answer should be 42 cm. All you have to do is add all of the sides together.

4 + 4 + 10 + 8 + 8 + 3 + 2 + 2 = 42

Hope this helps!

separate the figure into easier parts first. for example two rectangles. first to find the area of the bottom rectangle multiply 10 * 4 = 40. the second rectangle has a height of 8 and a width of 5 because 3 + 2 = 5 and 10 - 5 will get you the width of the top rectangle. 8 * 5 = 40. now add both of the rectangles to get the final area which would be 40 + 40 = 80cm

Halfway through a bus route, 23 students have been dropped off and 48 students remain on the bus. Write an equation to determine
jonny [76]

Answer: The required equation is

x=23+48\\\Rightarrow\ x=71

Thus, there are 71 students on the bus at the beginning of the route.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The number of students dropped off = 23

The number of students remain on the bus = 48

Let 'x' be the total number of students in the bus then we get the equation as

x=23+48

On adding 23 to 48, we get 71

Hence,x=71

Therefore, There are 71 students on the bus at the beginning of the route.

First, you would find the area of the rectangle using the formula A = L • W, which would then give you 24 cm2. Then you would find the area of the triangle using the formula A = bh1/2, which would the give you the answer of 8 cm2. Then you would have to find the area of the semi-circle, using the formula A = (r • r) • 3.14 / 2, which would then give you the answer of 25.12 cm2. Finally, you would have to add up all three area’s, so 25.12 + 8 + 24, which would then give you the final answer, which would be 57.12 cm2.

rodikova [14]

Answer:

X=5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's solve your equation step-by-step.

4x+2=2(x+6)

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

4x+2=2(x+6)

Simplify: (Show steps)

4x+2=2x+12

Step 2: Subtract 2x from both sides.

4x+2−2x=2x+12−2x

2x+2=12

Step 3: Subtract 2 from both sides.

2x+2−2=12−2

2x=10

Step 4: Divide both sides by 2.
