Answer;
A possible role of fiber in the colon is to provide butyrate as energy to keep the colon cells healthy and resistant to chemical damage causing cell changes.

Explanation;
Fiber is an extremely important of a healthy diet. It is found in plants and is indigestible, yet enables the body to eliminate waste and maintain homeostasis.
Soluble fiber promotes the movement of material through the digestive system and increases stool bulk, and benefits individuals with constipation.

PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

there are 4: paracrine signaling, autocrine signaling, endocrine signaling, and synaptic signaling

Explanation:

paracrine:cells that are near one another communicate through the release of chemical messengers

autocrine: a cell signals to itself, releasing a ligand that binds to receptors on its own surface

endocrine:When cells need to transmit signals over long distances, they often use the circulatory system as a distribution network for the messages they send.

synaptic: nerve cells transmit signals. The junction between two nerve cells where signal transmission occurs.

In the polyatomic ion tco4-, tc has a hypothetical charge of 7+. the 99tc isotope is used in medicine for imaging purposes. it h
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer;

Atomic number Tc = 43 , which is equivalent to the number of protons in nucleus.

Number neutrons = mass number - number of protons = 99 - 43 = 56 neutrons .

Number of electrons = number of protons - charge = 43 - (+7) = 36 electrons

Explanation;

-Atomic number is the number of proton in the nucleus of an atom of a given element. Mass number is the total number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus of an atom. A neutral atom has equal number of protons and neutrons.

-Isotopes are atoms of the same element with the same atomic number but different mass number.
