I was doing some research about how a bill becomes a law. I thought that after the US representatives and Senate passed the bill, then it would go to the president. It actually does go to the president, but if the House and Senate pass different bills, they are sent to the Conference Committee. I'm pretty sure that it might actually be E. So, slaves' lives would be different, due to more freedom being provided to them in the north than the south.
