On June 11, 1776, a "Committee of Five" was named to draft a declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson was one of the five men appointed. The others were John Adams<span> of Massachusetts, </span>Benjamin Franklin<span> of Pennsylvania, </span>Robert R. Livingston<span> of New York, and </span>Roger Sherman<span> of Connecticut.</span>

I think that there should be a death penalty because criminals violate our rights all the time. Therefore, since human rights must belong to everyone, I believe that if they kill they should die. For example, if a criminal killed a member of my family, our life would never be the same, so this kind of events should not remain unpunished. My opinion is purely personal and is based on my sense of fairness and moral principles.
