For sure, one of the answers is Plate tectonics. The second answer would most likely be subduction, due to the fact, in the lessons revolving this question, it mentions both earthquakes and volcanoes caused by subduction.

How is a raft different from a typical ecosystem when considering carrying capacity?
harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

Explanation:

A raft is a flat-bottom structure made of planks or barrels that has the capacity to float on water. While an ecosystem is a community of living organisms (biotic) interacting with there non-living (abiotic) environment as an ecological unit.

A raft by design cannot withstand much load because of it's size or can only accommodate  only one type of organism at a time but an ecosystem generally accommodates a community (different organisms), hence the carrying capacity of an ecosystem is way larger than that of a raft and indeed a raft can be part of an ecosystem at some point

Why did you cut out the chromosomes in pairs
Debora [2.8K]
Well, I don't fully understand your question. I think I know what you're getting at though.

In a system of sexual reproduction, you have genes coming from both an egg and the sperm. Therefore, it'll only contain half the total amount of chromosomes (46 in humans). A sperm will have 23, and the egg will have the other 23. Is that what you meant why the chromosomes are cut out in pairs? If that wasn't your question, please elaborate and I'll return to answer it to the best of my capabilities.
