Proofreading is checking to see whether or not everything written is correctly grammatically, making minor changes in spelling, punctuation, etc.
Revising is changing the "subject" or characters, the general idea or something dealing with it. It changes the written work in a greater fashion, changing basically the idea.<span />

My favorite part of that movie is when Draco Malfoy got attacked by the hippogriff. He got attacked by it because he was being quite rude. Hippogriff's has a special way of allowing people to pet/ride them. This hippogriff was Buckbeak, he scratched Draco's arm. It was quite funny at the end because Draco was being very dramatic saying "it's killed me! It's killed me". And at the end of the day Hagrid went to Draco's rescue.
