Keep in mind I've never actually attempted this kind of problem.

Calculate how far both planes are after 2.5 hours

450 × 2.5 = 1125

350 × 2.5 = 875

The legs of the triangle will be 1,125 miles & 875 miles.

1125² + 875² = 2,031,250

\sqrt{2031250} = 1,425.21

Plane A is 1,425 miles from Plane B.

Mikayla is a waitress who makes a guaranteed $50 per day in addition to tips of 20% of all her weekly customer receipts, t. She
notsponge [240]

Answer:

D. f(t)=300+0.20t

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that Mikayla is a waitress who makes a guaranteed $50 per day.

Since Miklaya works  6 days per week, so the guaranteed income for one week would be \$50\times 6=\$300

We are also told that she gets tips of 20% of all her weekly customer receipts, t. So amount earned from tips would be 20% of t, that is \frac{20}{100}t=0.20t.

Total amount earned in one week would be guaranteed income for 1 week plus 20% of t:

300+0.20t

Therefore, our required function is f(t)=300+0.20t and option D is the correct choice.

How to find variables x- and y-
Monica [59]

It says that the triangles are congruent (same size). Also, a triangle's angles add up to 180 degrees. In both of these triangles, one angle is 90° and another angle is 52°. The other angle is 180°-90°-52°=38°.

Solve these equations to find x and y: 2x+18=38, 3y+11=38

2x+18=38\\2x=20\\x=10

3y+11=38\\3y=27\\y=9
