Cost price=38 and profit 15%find the selling price and profit
shutvik [7]

Selling price (S) = 43.7

Profit = 6.7

Explanation:

Given parameters:

Cost price = 38

Profit = 15%

Unknown:

Selling price = ?

Profit = ?

Solution:

The selling price is the amount a particular good is sold.

  Selling price = Cost price + profit

The profit is the gain on goods sold.

    Profit = Selling price - cost price

We have been given the profit percent;

   %Profit = \frac{S.P - C.P }{C.P }  x 100

15 =  \frac{S - 38}{38 }  x 100

  Selling price (S) = 43.7

Profit = selling price - cost price = 43.7 - 38.00 = 6.7

_____ is an unpleasant side effect that alcohol withdrawal creates for an alcoholic. excessive sleepiness leptokurtic reaction c
bezimeni [28]
The correct answer is "delirium tremens"

In the event of abrupt cessation of alcohol use, there will be an adaptive response of the central nervous system leading to overactivity which explains the withdrawal symptoms. In the event of central nervous system hyperactivity, mild symptoms include but not limited to insomnia, tremors, mild anxiety, headache, and diaphoresis; these symptoms appear usually within six hours of cessation. Withdrawal-related seizures characterized as generalized tonic-clonic convulsions as well as alcoholic hallucinosis or hallucinations related to abrupt alcohol cessation may occur in moderately severe cases. In most severe cases, delirium tremens may occur and this is characterized by hallucinations, disorientation, tachycardia, and agitation.

Action potential in a motor neuron triggers the release of what neurotransmitter?
vodomira [7]

Answer:

Action potential in a motor neuron triggers the release of acetylcholine (ACh) neurotransmitter.

Explanation:

Acetylcholine: It is a neurotransmitter released by motor neurons which bind to the receptors end plates of the motor. When an action potential travel down the motor neuron's axon, neurotransmitter release occurs resulting in an influx of calcium and altered permeability of the synaptic terminal membrane.

The Ca2+ ions allow synaptic vesicles to move and bind with the presynaptic membrane which is present on the neuron and released neurotransmitter from the vesicles into the synaptic cleft. Once it's released ACh diffusion occurs across the synaptic cleft to the motor end plate, and binds with ACh receptor. As the neurotransmitter ACh binds, these ions channel open and sodium ions cross the membrane into the muscle cells.

In this phase reduction of voltage inside and outside the cell occurs, which is known as depolarization. When ACh binds to the motor end plate this depolarization is known as end plate potential. Then depolarization spread with the sarcolemma and creating an action potential. This action potential moves the entire cell and creating a wave of depolarization.
