Describe the main landforms in India? How can you compare these with UAE’s landforms?
Ipatiy [6.2K]

With a total area of 3,287,591 sq km, India is the seventh-largest country in the world (approximately).

 • The Northern Mountain Region,
 • the Great Plains of the North,
 • the Rajasthan Desert,
 • the Great Plateau, and
 • the Coastal Strips & Islands are the five distinct landform types in India.

What are landforms?

A constructed or natural land feature on the solid surface of the Earth or another planetary body is referred to as a landform.

A given terrain is made up of several landforms, and topography refers to how these landforms are arranged in the surrounding area.

Some differences are:

 1. Unlike the UAE, which has no or very little mountain flora, the Indian mountains are covered in a lot of greenery.
 2. There are other rivers that originate in Indian mountains, but the Ganges river is the most notable. However, no rivers traverse the highlands of the UAE.

Foreign trade zones are areas that are: a.physically on U.S. soil and are also considered to be inside U.S. commerce. b.not phys
Kamila [148]

Answer:

The answer is d: physically on the U.S. soil but considered to be outside U.S. commerce.

Explanation:

Foreign trade zones are areas within the United States or near a port of entry where foreign and domestic goods are deemed to be outside the U.S. trade. Tariffs and quotas are removed in foreign trade zones and new companies and foreign investments seem to be attracted by these areas, as the requirements for operating therein are not difficult to meet. These areas are under the U.S. Customs and Border Protection supervision.

The goods in foreign trade zones receive the same treatment by the US Customs as it were outside the commerce of the United States.
