1) Fear and shame
One of the most common reasons for not seeking help is fear and shame. People recognize the negative stigma and discrimination associated with having a mental illness and don’t want to be labeled “mentally ill” or “crazy.” They may also have concerns about how such a label could negatively impact their career, education, or other life goals.

2) Lack of insight
If someone has clear signs of a mental illness but says “there’s nothing wrong with me,” “I’m not sick,” or “I don’t need any help,” this signals a severe lack of insight. If someone truly believes they aren’t sick, they feel no need to seek or accept treatment.

3) Distrust
It’s difficult to consider revealing personal details to a doctor or counselor. Many express concern about “telling a stranger” about their problems. Additionally, they worry that their personal information won’t be kept confidential.

And much more reasons as to why someone may not want to go seek help.

WILL MARK BRAINLIEST! AND GIVE 50 POINTS!! PLZ HELP! In a paragraph, describe ways to improve self-esteem
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

A self esteem can be defined as how you value yourself or how much do you value yourself. Some may feel that they are inferior to others, which shows that they do not value themselves. To improve one's self esteem, he/she must  have self-respect. If you respect yourself, it makes others want to respect you, which persuades you to value yourself.  Being confident of one self and the belief that '' I can do it'' makes a person value himself more. Having self esteem not only upgrades you, but also improves you by giving various chances and giving you a feeling to create various choices you have never made before. Believing that, even if you have your own demerits, you also have merits making others want to applaud for you also help you to favor yourself more.

Once the cause of stress has been identified, there are no behaviors that can lessen the effect of or eliminate the stress.
Ainat [17]
This is false!

For example, let's take the situation in which you are stressed when you are not prepared for an exam and you have to take the exam. You can plan better your time and start preparing earlier or try to "stage" practice exams for yourself and the result will be less stress!
