The problem that they faced is that they didn't even really know how to drive them, so that would limit the use of it to almost nothing

I don't know if this is right.... but there was a lot of country roads (dirt roads near farms) and when people (usually rich people) would ride on those roads they would spray up dust. And that dust would get on the farmers crops. Because of that it was thought of arrogance and rudeness.

Another reason is that there wasn't much in the way of roads like there is today. So, it was difficult for people driving cars to even get anywhere. And since the car was newly invented it had a lot of technical problems so it would always break and make it even more difficult for people who are driving it.
Hope this helps you!:)

The harm globalization is causing outweighs the benefits to individuals and the world economy.

Globalization is the process by which the world slowly has becoming more and more connected through trade, exchange of people and ideas. This process is made possible by quick trasportation, the internet and free trade laws between states. The immediate effect is quite positive, as trade propels growth and wealth often follows grown. However, we should also be aware of the weight of our actions on the environment. Globalization in se it's not nor bad or good, it's more how we carry on the process that matters. As for now, the harm the globalization is causing is the environment outweight any possible benefit, simply because we have avuse our environment so much it simply cannot take more. We are well over the promise to keep the temperature below 2°, and this is not a sustainable pathway.

Fort Sumter was a turning point in the Civil War because __________.
SOVA2 [1]

Answer: it represented the final chance for a lasting reconciliation between Union and Confederate forces on Southern soil

Explanation:

Fort Sumter guarded the harbor at Charleston, South Carolina, and was commanded by the Unionist Major Robert Anderson. Secessionists forces demanded total withdrawal of federal forces from the fort. Lincoln understood that giving up on Fort Sumter would be giving up the Union. He ordered the resupply of the Fort, but President Jefferson Davis and his Confederates decided to not follow Lincoln's decision.  At four-thirty on the morning of April 12, the Confederate shelling of Fort Sumter began. And after 36 hours of crossfire, the Unionists lowered the flag on April 13. The fall of Fort Sumter started the Civil War and ignited a wave of bravado across the Confederate states. The guns of Charleston signaled the end of the waiting game.
