Answer:

2500 J

Step-by-step explanation:

As we know that from first law of thermodynamics we have

Q = W + \Delta U

here we know that

Q = heat given to the system

W = work done by the system

\Delta U = change in internal energy of the system

now we will have

Q = 1000 J

U_i = 2000 J

Work done by the piston = 500 J

so work done by system of gas = (work done by piston)

now from above equation we have

1000 = \Delta U + 500

\Delta U = 500 J

now we know that

\Delta U = U_f - U_i

500 = U_f - 2000

U_f = 2500 J

So final internal energy of the gas is 2500 J while initial internal energy is given as 2000 J

The term "exponential growth" refers to a very rapid increase in number while the term "exponential decay" refers to a very rapid decrease in number.

Exponential growth

The "exponential" typically connotes something that happens very rapidly. Hence, it is safe to say that a suitable synonym for the word "exponential" is the word "rapid".

Hence, "exponential growth" refers to a very rapid increase in number while the term "exponential decay" refers to a very rapid decrease in number.

If n = 11 and p = 5 what is the value of the expression 18 - n - 2 + p
yan [13]

Answer:

10

Step-by-step explanation:

If n = 11 and p = 5, we can just substitute the values in for n and p in the equation 18 - n - 2 + p.

The new equation would be 18 - 11 - 2 + 5.

Using PEMDAS, we get the answer of 10.

18 - 11 = 7

7 - 2 = 5

5 + 5 = 10

Hope this helps!

Select the correct answer. What is the mode of this data set? {41, 43, 45, 3, 11, 23, 24, 27, 29, 45, 12, 19, 22, 49, 25}
klemol [59]

The mode is the number in the set that appears the most.

In the given data set, the number 45 is listed twice while all the other numbers are only listed once.

The mode is 45.
