Answer:

1) 5 ( 4h - 1 )

2) 5 ( 3r + 7 )

3) 2( -2p +5 )

Step-by-step explanation:

For no. 1 you have to find a <u>common factor (</u>a number that divides into both 20 and 5) which is 5 because 20 divided by 5 is 4 and 5 divided by 5 is 1. so you have to do 20h divided by 5 which is 4h (don't forget the h ! ) and you do -5 divided by 1 which is -1. Remember when you do any multiplying or dividing questions with negatives and positives :

minus + minus = minus  (-5*-6 = -30)

positive + positive = positive (5*6 = 30)        * equals multiplacation by the way

minus + positive = minus (-5*6 = -30)

positive + minus = minus (5*-6 = -30)

hope this helped xx

A box is 50 cm long. Which of these is closest to the length of this box in feet? (1 inch = 2.54 cm)
goblinko [34]

First, convert cm to inches.

50/2.54 is roughly 19.69

There are 12 inches in a foot, so divide the 19.69 by 12.

19.69/12 is roughly 1.64

So the answer is C

GREYUIT [131]

Answer:

$9,840

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the money earned from college be 'x'.

Given:

Total money earned from the two jobs = $50,450

Money earned at the store = 1250 + 4(Money earned at college)

∴ Money earned at the store = 1250 +4x

Now, total money earned by Erica is the sum of money earned at store and college. Therefore,

Total money = Money at store + Money at college

50450=1250+4x+x\\5x+1250=50450\\5x=50450-1250\\5x=49200\\x=\frac{49200}{5}=\$9840

Therefore, the money earned by Erica from her job at the college is $9,840.
