The sin <ABC means that AC/AB. So we know AB=34. AC/AB=8/17. So the length of AC is 16. cos<ABC means BC/AB. tan<ABC means AC/BC.

We have that
AB=34
sin ∠ABC=\frac{8}{17}

we know that
in the right triangle ABC
sin ∠ABC is equal to  \frac{AC}{AB}
AC is the opposite side angle B
AB is the Hypotenuse

sin ∠ABC=\frac{8}{17}  equation 1

sin ∠ABC=\frac{AC}{34}  equation 2

equate equation 1 and equation 2

\frac{8}{17}  = \frac{AC}{34}  \\  \\ AC=34* \frac{8}{17} \\  \\ AC=16

the answer is
AC=16

Part of your job as manager is to count the cash for the daily bank deposit. When you count the cash, you have 47 ones, 22 fives
gavmur [86]

The total amount of the deposit is  $592.92.

<h3>What is the total amount of the deposit?</h3>

The total amount of the deposit can be determined by adding all the money deposited together.

(47 x 1) + (22 x 5) + (9 x 10) + (17 x 20) + (67 x 0.01) + (0.05 x 12) + (9 x 0.1) + (15 x 0.25)

47 + 110 + 90 + 340 + 0.67 + 0.60 + 0.9 + 3.75 = $592.92

A square is put together by two triangles. The hypotenuse is 11 cm and width of 8 cm. find the height of triangle?
Aleks [24]
You can use the pythagorean theorem. Make sure that you put the measurements in the right places though. Since 11 is the measure of the hypotenuse, 11 has to be c. When you plug in the information that you have, it should look like this:
8^2 + b^2 = 11^2

Square 8 and 11.
64 + b^2 = 121

Subtract 64 from 121
121 - 64 = 57

The new equation is:
b^2 = 57

Now take the square root of both sides to get b by itself.
b = about 7.5

Answer: The height of the triangle is 7.5

What's the correct answer and why?
alexandr402 [8]
3x^4 becomes 3(3x)^4=3*3^4*x^4
y^2 becomes (3y)^2=3^2y²
the new z=3² the old z, so b is correct.
