There's many properties you can use to find an unknown angle.
There are too many to lists but one core example would be an isosceles triangle that has two adjacent sides and angles.
Let's say that the sides of an isosceles triangle are any number "x"
now since two sides of the triangle are the same we can add these two x's together.
x+x = 2x
now the other side of the triangle can be anything you like. We can call it 4x for this example.
now if we add them all together we'll get 4x+2x=6x
Now since the angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees
we can equate 6x=180 leaving x to be 30.
Now since x belongs to both sides of the triangle we can say that both angles are congruent as well because the two sides of the triangle are congruent. This is a known triangle law.
Since both angles are now 30 degrees this will leave us with 2(30) = 60
now if we subtract 180 - 60 we'll get 120 which is the remainder of the 3rd angle of the side that corresponds with 4x.

First of all, a positive average rate of change means that the function is increasing, so the answer can only be A->B or B->C.
The average rate of change is defined as

i.e. as the ratio between the vertical and horizontal gain.
In order to go from point A to point B, you gain 1 unit horizontally and 5 units vertically. So, the average rate of change is 5/1=5.
In order to go from point B to point C, you gain 1 unit horizontally and 3 units vertically. So, the average rate of change is 3/1=3.
Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:
1. The slope-intercept form of a linear equation is
, where y = y-coordinate, m = slope, x = x-coordinate, and b = slope.
2. To find the slope, let's take the two points (0,0) and (-40,10). After that, let's plug in the values to their corresponding variable in the formula:
3. Since we now know our slope, the equation looks like this so far:
.
4. Because b is the y-intercept, b = 0 because the line intersects the y-axis at (0,0).
5. Now that we have the values of m and b, we plug in them to get the equation of:
