Amendments refer to changes being made in the constitutions of the country. In the United States of America, the amendments are proposed by the Congress and once proposed it has to be approved by the Congress or at least three fourth of the states.
Although the constitutions of the United States of America consists of only twenty seven amendments, the very first, ten amendments were made to the Bill of Rights, which was incorporated in 1791.
In July 1799, the stone was found in the city of Rosetta by French soldiers during Napoleon's invasion of Egypt. Rosetta was located on a tributary of the Nile near the Mediterranean coast east of Alexandria.
