All living things are made of one or more cells. Here are two types of cells: an animal cell and a plant cell. Sometimes when pl

ants are under water stress, they wilt. Animals do not wilt! What analogy based on the plant cell structure explains wilting? A) The chloroplast are like a factory. When the plant is water stressed, the chloroplast stops producing energy and the plant wilts. B) The cell wall is like a cardboard box. When the plant is water stressed, the cell wall folds, like someone crushing the cardboard box. C) The large vacuole is like a water-filled balloon. When the plant is water stressed, the water leaves the vacuole and the plant cells start to shrink. D) The plasma membrane is like the drain in your sink. When the plant is water stressed, the plasma membrane stops water from entering the cell and the plant starts to wilt.

What event could disrupt one or more body systems?
Serggg [28]
An event that could disrupt one or more body systems is a HEAD TRAUMA. When we say head trauma, this is an injury which affects the scalp, the skull or even the brain. When the brain is greatly affected, all of the other systems in the body would not function well since it is the brain is the center of the coordination of the systems. Hope this answer helps.

How does passive transport compare and contrast with active transport? How does the concentration gradient affect whether transp
Anvisha [2.4K]
If you are going from a high gradient to a low gradient it’s passive transport. Think of a hill if you put a rock at the top of that hill it will go down no energy involved. Active transport is going up the hill you must use energy to push that rock up the hill because it’s from a low gradient to the top. Hope this helps

Two parallel electrodes that are typically separated by 3cm with a 5V potential difference across them.
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Answer:

166.7 V/m or 166.7 J/C

Explanation:

The formula for electric field is

volts/distance

Given

volts = 5V

Distance =0.03m

= 5V / 0.03m

= 166.7 V/m

Recall

1 V/m = 1 J/C

The magnitude of the electric field between the two electrodes in ionization type detectors = 166.7 V/m or 166.7 J/C
