<u>Charles used to work for the Huffington family until the day when Mr. Huffington got to find out that Charles was having an affair with Mrs. Huffington and after getting to know this, He fired Charles from the job. </u>Charles had been into the pool cleaning business for the last 11 years and he loved his job but when he was fired from the Huffington’s, other homes, where Charles used to work also fired him when they got to know the reason and Charles was soon out of work and homeless. After some time, Charles would often stop by Mrs. Huffington’s and whenever he used to meet her, he would ask for work and tell her how much he loves her.  

All these acts by Charles made Mrs. Huffington afraid and she got restraining orders placed on Charles and Charles got scared and decided to move on. After some time Charles got married and got Pool cleaning work but three days prior to Mrs. Huffington’s murder, he tried to meet Mrs. Huffington and broke restraining orders. <u>During police investigation, while interviewing Charles, police noticed that Charles was having a key to Mrs. Huffington’s home around his neck and investigations also showed a ‘love letter’ from Charles in Mrs. Huffington’s mailbox which said, ‘I know Mr. Huffington is in town, don’t let him come back. Only I can be the one who loves you’. </u>
