A, compare and contrast.  Chronological is when you list something in order of when it happened, so say you are writing about the Great Depression, the beginning would start with the 1930's and the ending would have stuff about the 1940's.  Order of importance is when you list stuff in order from most important to least important.  So your answer is option A ..

borishaifa [10]

Answer:

If I were an American citizen listening to FDR’s speech, it would have affected me in a strong way. I would have felt a sense of horror at the surprise attack by the Japanese and a sense of indignation that they would have dared to attack us on our own home soil.

Read the following excerpt from "Preludes' by T. S. Eliot:
stellarik [79]

Answer:

A. It conveys a sense of disillusionment with city life.

Explanation:

Modernism, an art movement that began in the Western world and spanned from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century was marked by a desire to embrace the urban lifestyle and move away from what was normal in the society.

The poem above portrays the desertion that comes with city life. Everyone seems to be on their own, showing the individuality and independence of people. The streets also feel deserted as the evening approaches. This portrays the disenchanted feeling that characterizes city life. It is not always as good as it seems.

dangina [55]
The first choice is the right answer, that Polonius is sacrificing his daughter to trick Hamlet. This is when Polonius is convinced that Hamlet is lovesick over Ophelia, and when Hamlet calls him Jephthah, he fixates on the mention of his daughter, and neglects the context of Jephthah having sacrificed his daughter.

Answer:

This one means this is the best example of Briony's struggle with her mind in and the minds of others (and not being able to interconnect the two).
