Music and sound effects are added. Since you can't see the people, you can imagine what is happening, which can be better than seeing it.

There are many ways in which a radio play can be made more dramatic by its use of technology. The sound that the radio transmits is usually of really good quality. This is not always the case in theatres, where the voices of the actors might not be as loud. Moreover, the radio allows for music and special effects to be added, which contribute to the development of a dramatic atmosphere.

HOW DO YOU COMPARE VIRTUAL COMMUNICATION AND FACE TO FACE COMMUNICATION
valkas [14]

Answer:

Another significant difference between face-to-face and online communication involves the type of cues we use in the interaction. In general, verbal cues, the words used, and the information contained in the words remain the same between the two types of communication.

Hope this helps, have a great day/night, and stay safe!
