The army corps of engineers is a division of the US Army. Main US Army infantry squadrons and companies have a combat engineer in them. The army corps of engineers is one of many US Army divisions, which include combat live savers (medics) and the US Army Air Corps.

The corollary was a foreign policy by which the United States will intervene in any conflict between <em>European countries</em> and<em> Latin American countries.</em> This will insure that European claims over Latin American countries will be legitimate and will avoid having the European claims directly.
