La reta correcta es 0.125.

solo multiplicas 0.3 x 0.416 = 0.125

el 0.3 es el resultado de dividir 3/10 y el 0.416 es el resultado de dividir 5/12

Espero haberte ayudado.

When multiplying fractions you just multiply the numerators together:
3X5 = 15

Then you multiply the denominators together:
10X12 = 120

So 15/120.   Now simplify
Divide both by 15
1/8

I chose 15 because I knew that off the top of my head.  If you didn't know that start with what you do know. For example

15/120 - you can divide by 5
3/24 - you can divide by 3
1/8
You still get the same answer.  If you notice dividing by 5 and then by 3 is the same as dividing by 15

Which is a factor of the polynomial f(x) = 6x4 – 21x3 – 4x2 + 24x – 35?
QveST [7]
<span>I note that this problem starts out with "Which is a factor of ... "  This implies that you were given several answer choices.  If that's the case, it's unfortunate that you haven't shared them.

I thought I'd try finding roots of this function using synthetic division.  See below:

f(x) = 6x^4 – 21x^3 – 4x^2 + 24x – 35
Please use " ^ " to denote exponentiation.  Thanks.

Possible zeros of this poly are factors of 35:  plus or minus 1, plus or minus 5, plus or minus 7.  Use synthetic division; determine whether or not there is a non-zero remainder in each case.  If none of these work, form rational divisors from 35 and 6 and try them:  5/6, 7/6, 1/6, etc.

Provided that you have copied down the function
</span>f(x) = 6x^4 – 21x^3 – 4x^2 + 24x – 35  properly, this approach will eventually turn up 1 or 2 zeros of this poly.  Obviously it'd be much easier if you'd check out the possible answers given you with this problem.

By graphing this function, I found that the graph crosses the x-axis at 7/2.  There is another root.

Using synth. div. to check whether or not 7/2 is a root:

         ___________________________
7/2   /   6    -21    -4    24    -35
                   21      0   -14     35
        ----------- ------------------------------
           6        0     -4    10       0

Because the remainder is zero, 7/2 (or 3.5) is a root of the polynomial.  Thus, (x-3.5), or (x-7/2), is a factor.

For a given function ƒ(x) = x2 – x + 1, the operation –ƒ(x) = –(x2 – x + 1) will result in a
Mekhanik [1.2K]

Given:

The function is:

f(x)=x^2-x+1

To find:

The result of the operation -f(x)=-(x^2-x+1).

Solution:

If g(x)=-f(x), then the graph of f(x) is reflected across the x-axis to get the graph of g(x).

We have,

f(x)=x^2-x+1

The given operation is:

-f(x)=-(x^2-x+1)

So, it will result in a reflection across the x-axis.

Therefore, the correct option is A.

In ΔJKL, the measure of ∠L=90°, KL = 22 feet, and JK = 54 feet. Find the measure of ∠J to the nearest degree.
nydimaria [60]

We have been given that in ΔJKL, the measure of ∠L=90°, KL = 22 feet, and JK = 54 feet. We are asked to find the measure of angle J to nearest degree.

First of all, we will draw a triangle as shown in the attachment.

We can see from our attachment that side KL is opposite side to angle J and side JK is hypotenuse of right triangle.

We know that sine relates opposite side of right triangle to hypotenuse.

\text{sin}=\frac{\text{Opposite}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}

\text{sin}(\angle J)=\frac{22}{54}

Using inverse sine or arcsin, we will get:

\angle J=\text{sin}^{-1}(\frac{22}{54})

\angle J=24.042075905756^{\circ}

Upon rounding to nearest degree, we will get:

\angle J\approx 24^{\circ}

Therefore, the measure of angle J is approximately 24 degrees.
