Answer:

In the United States, the Office of War Information was founded in 1942, with a purpose to deliver the government's message via different types of propaganda.

The Office thus produced posters, pamphlets, movies, radio shows, which involved the recruitment of filmmakers and advertisers, only with one goal - to persuade people to join the war. During the World War II, posters could be found everywhere - in the railway stations, buildings, schools and hospitals, post offices, etc. These propaganda tools (posters, movies) were combined with specific types of propaganda designed to appeal to the audience - bandwagon, name-calling, euphemism, etc. While some posters delivered positive messages, other posters were dark and frightening. The latter pointed out the terrible outcomes that other countries faced in the lack of war effort. Phrases such as: "When you ride alone, you ride with Hitler” or“Loose lips might sink ships” could be seen on them. Some of the posters attempted to awaken people's patriotic feelings: "Join the war and be a good American." The idea was, thus, to persuade the population that it is absolutely necessary for people to be behind the war effort.

artcher [175]

Answer:

the prepositions are:

Explanation:

A preposition is a part of speech that expresses a relation between nouns or pronouns in a sentence and another word in the sentence.

There are various types of prepositions:

prepositions of place: To, beside, at in

prepositions of time: before, after

prepositions of reason: because, for, though

prepositions of direction: To, from, over

prepositions of agency: with, by

prepositions of connection: to, of

prepositions of origin: from, of

From this, we can see that this sentence has various prepositions. Any word that tries to show a relationship between a noun and another word, we can now spot it out.

1. To in 'While my friend was counting to ten': It shows the connection between the action counting and the noun 'ten'. It means that the counting was limited to the range of ten. in this context, the relationship it shows, is the extent of the counting.

it is a preposition showing connection

2. Up in ' I snuck up to my bed ': in this case, it answers the question where.

Question: Where did I sneak up to?

Answer: I snuck up to my bed.

it is a preposition showing place

3. To in ' I snuck up to my bed ' and ''to hide under the covers': In this case, it shows the relationship between the sneaking and the bed.

It is a preposition showing direction

4. Under in 'under the covers': In this case, it shows the position of where the writer hid.
